Open Studio

We currently meet once a week at the ARCH Hall,Cefnllan Road,Gelligron. Here we have lots of support and knowledge that we are happy to share. We welcome all people regardless of experience and many of our members started out as complete beginners.

This is our temporary home until we relocate to permanent rooms at Hwb y Gors, Cwmgors, once the facility is completed. Once there we will have access to lots of equipment for members to use and enjoy.

Workshops

When we relocate we will, once again, run regular workshops by experts in the Guild as well as inviting in guests to teach all aspects of fibre based crafts. To date we have held workshops in dyeing with food colours, felting, soari weaving, knitting plus many, many more.

Events & Demonstrations

One of our aims is to share our love of these crafts and give people the chance to have a go. We demonstrate at festivals and events where people can try their hand and spinning and weaving and get to chat to our members. See the What’s On page for more information.
